Spine Rehabilitation and Electrodiagnostic Medicine; Non-Surgical
Dr. David Speach is a board-certified physician and an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation at URMC. He is a physiatrist, or physical medicine and rehabilitation doctor, who specializes in the non-surgical management of musculoskeletal conditions. His main focus is the evaluation and treatment of neck disorders, back disorders, cervical and lumbar radicular pain. Treatment options include therapy, medications, and spinal injections.
Dr. Speach has additional experience and certification in the use of electrodiagnostic studies to evaluate disorders of nerves and muscle. He is a member of several national societies that focus on pain management, spinal pain management, and electrodiagnosis. He has written or reviewed several papers and books on rehabilitation topics.
