Spine Medicine & Rehabilitation
Dr. Ferrero completed her undergraduate training in 1989 at the University of Rochester
with a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience. She completed her medical degree
at the State University of New York Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences
in 1994. Following an internship year in Transitional Medicine, Dr. Ferrero then
completed her residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Tufts/New
England Medical Center in 1998. After residency, Dr. Ferrero gained experience in
Musculoskeletal and neurological disorders including spine, working in both Atlanta
and Boston in private practice settings. She joined the Department of Orthopaedics,
Division of Spine Surgery in 2002. She specializes in the evaluation and non-operative
treatment of spinal disorders. Her focus is to maximize a patient’s function
utilizing a combination of physical therapy, medication and injections.
